Can Schofield transform the Rodgers

Dr. Louise Schofield teaches the Rodgers some family respect
Tuesday, December 12th at 7:30pm TV 3

This week Dr. Louise Schofield has three out-of-control boys on her hands, and needs to teach them some family respect on Honey We’re Killing The Kids, screening Tuesday, December 12th at 7:30pm.

Julie and Dean Rodgers have three boys, 13-year-old Mason, 9-year-old Cameron and 7-year-old Brandon, who are from Ranui in West Auckland.

Chaos rules this family, and Louise insists these very hyperactive boys need to use their energy playing outdoors rather than watching TV all the time.

Each week Dr. Schofield performs a series of medical, nutritional and psychological tests on each child, based on their current lifestyle, and afterwards pictures of the children, their parents and their extended family will be used to get a good idea of how the children could look at the age of 40.

Dr. Schofield shows mum and dad that they need to lead by example and set boundaries in place so the boys know where they stand, but this means mum and dad have to change how they behave as parents.

Her aim is to restructure everything this family do from dawn to dusk, including a complete change in diet to healthy food, and enforced bedtimes.

‘Whistle Time’ is introduced – when a conflict arises the whistle is blown and the family has to sit on the couch, count to ten and write down what they’re angry about and then talk to each other calmly about the situation.

Tune in to see if Dr. Schofield can transform the Rodgers’ lifestyle and change the face of their children’s future before it’s too late, on Honey We’re Killing The Kids, screening Tuesday, December 12th at 7:30pm.
