    “worthy addition”

    Yeah right!

Ratings don’t necessarily indicate quality. The biggest number of US voters voted for George W in the last presidential elections too.

I watch Fox News when I’m overseas for a laugh.

it really is good for a laugh i watch it sometimes on the overnight feed on prime. i hope sky dont actually consider it a real news channel

I emailed them a few weeks ago asking if there were any plans to make FNC available 24/7 and they said there weren’t! Perhaps they had a change of heart…

Why is Fox so laughable? :/

  • Jacob

It’s because we get their off-peak, and morning shows when PRIME screens it.

I don’t see why you guys are all saying FNC is a laugh… They are the highest rated cable news channel in the US, their primetime shows usually beat CNN’s every night!

I’ve seen it a lot overseas and I *personally* find it so funny because it’s so incredibly sensational, so biased, so extreme — like there’s terrorists on every street corner just about to pop out and kill us all at any moment.

  • Jacob

    I’m really enjoying this channel.

  • Tui

I havent watched it yet…Will have to if I remember!

Fox News Channel is sooooo right-wing, and soooo in bed with the current administration in USA. The fact that they are the highest rated News Channel there, is indicative of American conservatism only. Whilst it is true that there are other News networks, Newspapers etc, that are very left-wing, they don’t bleat about FNC, but FNC are constantly bleating about them. Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity especially. The United States of America is one sad country.

While we’re having a dig at George W Bush, get this.

He only knows the name of three Al Qaeda members- Khaled Sheikh Mohammed, Osama bin Laden, and Sheikh Abu Lais al-Libby (or ‘Libby’ to Bush).

This despite being the leader of the ‘War on Terror’.

Information comes from Pervez Musharraf’s book.

Another fact which may be difficult to believe is that O’Reilly was once a highly respected journalist, winning accolades for his work in reporting on a highjacking incident and corruption in civic administration:

I would encourage you to watch a documentary called “Outfoxed” It exposes the Fox News Channel for what it really is. FNC is a subsidiary Company of Foxtel, owned by media magnate Rupert Murdoch. I worked for Star TV in Hong Kong for a number of years, and Star TV is also a subsidiary company of Foxtel. As is B-Sky-B in Britain, and a host of other TV Stations, Radio Stations, Newspapers etc. It has been said that the reason W won the 2000 election, was because Fox called the Florida election as Republican, when in fact it wasn’t. CBS and I think other networks also, called a Democratic victory in that state. Florida was the key state at that point, which determined the national election results, after all other states’ results were already in. Take a look at how Fox News works, and how the staff are manipulated….
