Fox TV has signed a new contract with the creator of the hot new comedy “How I Met Your Mother.” The deal means that the show will be created through to 2010 by Carter Bays and Craig Thomas, two comedy writers who got their start with David Letterman. The deal anticipates the two comedic geniuses will help create new shows for Fox in the future and is reported to be worth millions of dollars.
