The scruffy amateur detective once again uses his skills as a master of illusion to solve more murder riddles. Prim, proper and pushy Carla Borrego (Julia Sawalha) whom he met during the Satan’s Chimney case in series three helps Creek investigate a whole new set of curious cases, including the disappearance of a priceless porcelain figure which leads to a train of tragic events, the mysterious death of a ‘ghost hunter’ whose own spirit seems to be desperately trying to communicate with his ex-lover and the revelation that a highly respected police officer could be a ruthless killer.
