Complaint over Campbell Live Trashed Island segment upheld

The Broadcasting Standards Authority has upheld a complaint against a segment on TV3’s Campbell Live programme.

TV production company Eyeworks Touchdown complained that a segment which screened on the programme in October 2006 was unfair and inaccurate.

The authority upheld Eyeworks’ complaints of inaccuracy and unfairness, but didn’t uphold a complaint that the segment was unbalanced.

It ordered Campbell Live to broadcast a statement outlining its decision, within a month.
