    To Whom It May Concern,

Kia Ora my name is Kereama Otimi. I am the Netball Coach for Mangere East Hawks Dark Rockerz team, and all our team players have been remarkable this year.

As a Netball team we have managed to maintain first place in our Intermediate B grade this year, as well as the girls helping with their responsibilities at home and at school. The Dark Rockers have given 100% attendance in both Training and on Game day to our Netball Team, I am very proud of their achievements.

Majority of my players come from Pacific Island/ Maori low income homes and have families who have been unable to provide basic needs for their girl’s sports. I am writing to enquire if you could assist our Netball team with any donations as incentives or koha for our end of the year prize giving. In doing so it encourages the Team to continue to play a sport. Bringing Netball into my Dark Rockerz lives has helped my players to strive and set goals for their future, rather than getting into trouble in our South Auckland areas. Any koha item would be much appreciated:

    – A Company bumper sticker, Drink Bottle

    – Movie tickets, vouchers or maybe a T-shirt

    – Possible some Ribena.

It has been a delightful learning experience training the girls during each week and watching them play and develop together as a Netball team. All ten of them are exceptional and talented in their own way. We have only one more game left in the season on 11 August 2007 10.30am against Robertson rd Rockets. But we are playing our last Tournament on 18 August at the Bader Netball Courts in Mangere.

It would be wonderful to hear from any representative from your company.

    Best regards

    Kereama and the Dark Rockerz
