House: Series Final: Tuesday 10 July

Foreman gets ready to leave the team

Tuesday, July 10th at 8:30pm

Foreman (Omar Epps) prepares to leave, and his departure threatens to shake up the entire team, on the season finale of the Emmy Award-winning House, screening Tuesday, July 10th at 8:30pm.

After three years working under the antisocial Dr. House, Foreman decides it’s time for a change, as he doesn’t want to end up becoming House.

“House is judgmental – he’s callous toward humanity. Foreman is an optimist, [but] he sees the dark side that House always talks about. It’s getting to be a bit much.”

Epps (who wrote screenplays and poems at the age of eight, and grew up performing in the rap group Wolfpack) may be leaving the team, but will still be a main part of the show.

“The show has good ratings, but it’s been three years of the same formula, and we should push it a little bit before people get complacent.”

British actor Hugh Laurie is notoriously hard on himself on set, but Epps says that after three seasons it’s still an honour to work with the Emmy Award-winning actor.

“We all get along and give each other space to be who we are. Hugh is a great actor and he really puts a lot of pressure on himself. We’re there to support him when he’s too hard on himself. It’s like, ‘Dude, it’s cool. Don’t worry about it. You sound great’.”

Amongst the Foreman drama in the season finale, a Coast Guard rescue team pick up a Cuban couple stranded in the water.

The man refuses to give up the suitcase he’s holding which holds his wife’s medical records, destined to see Dr. House. When they arrive at the hospital and her condition gets worse, House wonders if someone on his staff messed up.

Tune in to the dramatic season finale of 3’s hit show House, screening Tuesday, July 10th at 8:30pm.
