Bruce Willis stars in the action blockbuster sequel to the original hit. A major international airport becomes an arena for terror on a snowy Christmas Eve, as Detective John McClane (Willis) is drawn into a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with an elite special forces unit which has seized a bustling airport in Washington, D.C. Led by a maniacal former U.S. military officer, the group plans to intercept the extradition of a Central American military leader as he is brought into the United States for prosecution on drug charges. Unless their demands are met, the terrorists will cause passenger airliners to come crashing down around the airport.

Funny man Tim Allen stars as an underappreciated video specialist Joe Scheffer who is brutally humiliated by the office bully Mark McKinney (Patrick Warburton) in front of his daughter. This prompts Joe to start a quest for personal redemption and he begins training for a rematch with McKinney. As news spreads of this rematch, Joe suddenly finds himself the center of attention, ascending the corporate ladder and growing in popularity. He’s determined to show everyone in his life that he is not a nobody, but a force to be reckoned with.

3 Film Festival: The Son’s Room

Giovanni is a successful psychoanalyst who has to put up with the seemingly endless string of trivial details his patients ramble on about. Yet his family provides a loving and steadfast foundation for his life that can even survive a problem like their son, Andrea, being accused of stealing a rare fossil in school. That foundation is profoundly rocked when Andrea dies in a scuba diving accident. Although the usual arrangements run smoothly, the emotional harm is profound. Giovanni begins to obsessively dwell on the missed chances he had with his son that might have saved his life, even blaming his patients. In addition, his wife is inconsolable and his daughter is becoming anti-social in their loss. In the midst of this turmoil, a secret of their son’s life is revealed that provides healing in a way they never anticipated.
