Dominic Bowden to host The Next Great American Band?

New Zealand Reality TV show host Dominic Bowden has been to the US a number of times scoping out the scene there with people like Ryan Seacrest and E! and he’s said to have landed a job hosting a big new reality TV show!

Possible jobs include hosting The Next Great American Band – from the makers of American Idol. The show airs in the US in October. A host has not yet been officially announced.

A source close to Dom said:

“it will be as big as American Idol…life-changing for Dominic. It will turn him into a superstar.It will thrust him into the homes of millions of Americans, then billions around the world.”

    My guess is that he will be the host of the new show “The Next Great American Band” starting on Fox in October. Made by the people behind American Idol, this would be Dom’s big break. Potentially huge news.

    It’s interesting how the Sunday News story is positive, but the Herald story is all negative about how he may owe $20,000 for pulling out of another TV show obligation at the last minute. The big headline here is that he’s most likely getting the biggest break of his career!
