Grey’s Anatomy Signals Change In Viewing Habits.

Hit ABC (TV2) Show Grey’s Anatomy’s new season has lost the ratings battle just two weeks into the new American season.
The show’s lost almost 25% of last year’s viewers with many falling back on old faithfulls such as CSI and a new season of ‘The Office’.

Grey’s Anatomy had trumped CBS (TV3) show CSI for progressive months in 2006 but it seems American’s viewing habits have turned away from the medical drama.

So, what do you think ?
Are you off Grey’s ?
Assuming TV3 offers its traditionally successful Crime line-up.
When the new season debut’s here in NZ what will you be watching?

I’d watch the office over greys anyday. But I’ve never been a fan of either greys or csi so that doesn’t exactly say much.

No I haven’t watched grey’s or CSI. Prefer Spooks, Waking the Dead, Dead Like Me and Without a Trace.

The other part of the equation is Private Practice which is one of the biggest new shows in the US this season, if not the biggest. I’m so looking forward to that!

  • MrCynical

Medical dramas bore the crap out of me, every single one is procedural and unimaginative.

    Uh Huh.

Greys is still walloping CSI in the 18-49 demographic. All that seems to have happened is that a few retirement villages have managed to find their tv remotes.
