Man dead after TV show raid

When reality TV series Borderline followed an immigration raid on a Chinese Massage Parlour in Panmure, a 38 year old man who panicked when he heard a commotion as officials and Cream Media crew arrived, leapt from a window that was seven metres off the ground. The man suffered serious injuries but was helped by a friend back to his home in Manukau but he died the following day.

Police and immigration knew nothing of the man’s injuries until they were informed of his death. The name, nationality and occupation have not been confirmed.

TVNZ weren’t aware of the incident until alerted being alerted by the media yesterday. Cream Media also knew nothing of the incident.
