Audition for New Zealand's Got Talent - $100,000 Grand Prize!

Prime Television is searching for ordinary and extraordinary Kiwis to prove New Zealand’s Got Talent.

And what constitutes talent? Any of the following: Circus acts, animal acts, novelty acts, ventriloquists, magicians, comedians, all kinds of dancers from ballet to belly, all styles of singers from yodellers to opera. Individuals and groups of all ages are welcome to audition.

So if you, your group or your pets have some talent then register to audition in front of a live audience and you’ll be in the running for a large cash prize.

Are you the best, the worst, the youngest, the oldest, the funniest or the ONLY person who does what you do? If so, New Zealand’s Got Talent wants to hear from you!

There is no age limit and you have until Friday the 6th of June to register

    wow the aussie show sucked over here . i wonder what sort of talent they will get in NZ ? I’m surprised that Prime have the $$ to do a show like this – have any judges been announced ? Or a host. Who cares about the talent – cos if they don’t get the right mix nabodys goin to watch right . hey has anyone seen clips of My Kids a Star ?

    I don’t think this show will last more than a season. Not enough talent in NZ. I hope they find some fresh host, I would die if they chose Jason Gunn lol.

    It is going to be really interesting to see how it goes. Prime seem to be pretty into it so the drive to make it succeed is good.

    As for it being successful, as a small channel with usually the smallest ratings I doubt the numbers will need to be DWTS/Idol-esque for it to be classed that way. The international versions of the show have done well for them so I would be expecting even bigger things from a local version.

    I think it’s great that Prime are putting money into a local production. People can complain about talent all they like but the fact that a couple of Kiwis at sitting at #3 on Billboard’s Top 200 and #1 on their Online Chart tells me that there is still talent in New Zealand. Sure, most of it wont go on to see the same results but this should be a great avenue to at least get some experience and some decent money.

    I like Mike Puru to. But i doubt he is mean enough.
