New Episodes

DISNEY CHANNEL – Friday 27 February, 4.30pm

Disney Channel presents brand new episodes of the critically acclaimed hit animated comedy “Phineas and Ferb,” beginning FRIDAY, 6 FEBRUARY (4:30pm NZDT).  The Emmy nominated series was created and is executive-produced by Dan Povenmire (“Family Guy”) and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh (“The Simpsons” and “Rocko’s Modern Life”) for Walt Disney Television Animation.  Offering humour for multiple generations, this stand-out comedy produced in traditional 2D animation, features Phineas Flynn and his stepbrother, Ferb Fletcher, setting out to conquer boredom and make every day of their 104-day summer vacation count, dreaming the impossible dream – and then doing it, along with their pet platypus, Perry.

In the episode entitled “The Lake Nose Monster,” premiering Friday, 6 February (4:30pm NZDT), John Larroquette (“Night Court”) guest stars as the head of a Lake Nose water resort where the Flynn-Fletcher family are camping.  There, a thrilled Candace has earned a spot on the lifeguard squad with Jeremy but she wreaks havoc when she repeatedly spots a strange creature lurking in the lake.  Meanwhile, Perry discovers the creature is actually Dr. Doofenshmirtz who is removing zinc from the water so that he’ll be the only one in the world with a lot of… zinc.  Now, Phineas and Ferb set out to find the Lake Nose Monster and save him from perishing from the effects of the zinc-less lake.

The series features original songs encompassing many genres of music including pop, rock, swing, jazz, etc.  It was nominated for two Emmy Awards.

“Phineas and Ferb” stars the voices of Vincent Martella (“Everybody Hates Chris”) as Phineas Flynn, Thomas Sangster (“Nanny McPhee”) as Ferb Fletcher, Ashley Tisdale (“High School Musical” and “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody”) as Candace Flynn, Mitchel Musso (“Hannah Montana”) as Jeremy, Caroline Rhea (“Sabrina, the Teenage Witch”) as mum Linda Flynn-Fletcher, Richard O’Brien (“The Rocky Horror Picture Show”) as dad Lawrence Fletcher, Dee Bradley Baker (“American Dad”) as Perry the Platypus, Alyson Stoner (“Camp Rock” and “Cheaper by the Dozen”) as
