The second season of Flight of the Conchords starts at 8:30pm on Prime tonight, less than 2 months after it began in the US and even more astonishing, before the series has ended on HBO.
Typically, shows from the cable channel don’t make their way outside of the US until after their run has been completed so only being 8 weeks behind could be considered a miracle.
The Flight of the Conchords have become one of New Zealand’s most successful entertainment exports with the duo collecting a Grammy Award in 2008 for best Comedy album.
The NZ Herald previewed tonight’s episode just after it aired in the US and declared “we managed to score a sneak peak, thanks to the interweb”.
