Last night on C4′s Jono’s New Show the winner of Dai’s Protege Project was revealed as 21 year old “Guy Williams” of Wellington. Guy was selected by Dai as one of three finalists and was flown to Auckland to perform in front of a live crowd. 21 year old Guy stood out to Henwood who said, ”Guy had strong material that will work well in front of a big crowd. He has a defined style and I know he’ll commit to delivering a solid performance during my festival show.” Guy favors ’ awkward situational comedy ‘ and indeed, his apparant awkwardness on stage is part of his appeal!
