Can we leave him alone yet?

The newspapers are once again reporting on the continuing Veitch saga.  Apparently, he and his wife have separated after what one must assume has been a rather tenuous few months.

Of course, more scandal has to be added to the already sordid story.  Making further suggestions that he’s having an affair by talking about him being with another woman and about a quickie marriage in Vegas he once had to a girl he met on a American bus tour.

You can’t help but wonder what Tony has done personally to people who seem to go out of their way to provide him the incentive to give up on life.

    Giving him attention he doesn’t deserve. Ignore him, otherwise you’re just going to feed his ego/problems. We sure don’t write about other criminals in the glossies!

    To be honest I think the media are just pretty tired of him doing things like going for a drive and then (allegedly) calling or emailing them to let them know he tried to kill himself I’m not saying he didn’t try. But if you can’t succeed after 3 or so attempts, take the hint, either someone desperately wants to keep you on this earth, or you’re just not doing it right.

    On a related note, I can tell you that useless rag of a publication – the NZ Herald (as if you needed me to name it with that description) said he was on holiday. I can tell you that’s not true.
    Saw him on the Friday, just before the Herald said he was out off the country on the Saturday.

    Take anything you read from the Herald and its remaining skeleton staff of 4 or so new grad journos, with a grain of salt. Fairfax is pretty bad these days, but the herald really takes the cake.

    It’s pretty obvious he’s just looking for attention, killing yourself is easy. Drive off a cliff/go as fast as you can with your eyes closed. If you don’t do it and then tell everyone it just means you’re attention seeking. Don’t give him that satisfaction..
