Vibe provides your second chance to follow the journeys of real-life patients who have decided to undergo sexual reassignment surgeries in the Sex Change Capital of the World.
Hundreds of miles from the nearest city, Trinidad Colorado, with a tiny population of 6,000, is more than just an old mining town and a popular biker stop. More sex change operations are performed here than anywhere else. From across the country and around the world, they come to see Dr. Marci Bowers – formerly Mark Bowers – who provides them with the ultimate life changing operation at her clinic adjacent to Trinidad’s Mt. San Rafael Hospital.
Performing five sex reassignment surgeries a week, Dr. Bowers has seen it all. Each patient has a unique story of how they came to terms with their sexuality and what brought them to this gentrified Old West mining town into the capable hands of Dr. Bowers… and our cameras will be there to capture it all.
