As part of delivering a diverse range of programmes for kids, Nickelodeon NZ is launching a new early evening programme strand, Nick@Nite targeting 13-16 year olds from Monday 1st March 2010 @ 8pm.

Nickelodeon NZ?s Channel Manager, Lauren Nola explains: “It?s important for us to provide programming for kids of all ages and the time is right to dedicate a regular daily timeslot specifically for of our older viewers. A large part of our audience is moving into their teenage years so it?s only natural that we continue to provide relevant and entertaining programming for them. Once the younger kids have headed off to bed, it?s time for the older ones to watch programmes they can relate to.

“The Nick@Nite programming block will screen weeknights from 8-10pm and will be a clearly differentiated, PG-rated block that focus on topics and issues early teens can encounter as they hit this important stage in their lives – as well as providing some great entertainment of course.”

The Nick@Nite block launches with a hot new selection of shows designed to entertain and challenge teen viewers. From Monday 1st March at 8pm check out:
