Gordon Ramsay heading to NZ

TV chef Gordon Ramsay is making his way to New Zealand in June.

But rest assured he’s certainly not on the hunt for restaurant train-wrecks to fix up, he’s simply over for a series of swanky gala dinners in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

The celebrity chef, famous for his reality shows Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, Hell’s Kitchen and The F Word, will deliver keynote speeches and hold a Q & A session to the assembled diners. Guests will also chow down on a three-course dinner and enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening.

Duco Events directors David Higgins and John McRae are excited to have lured the chef to the country. “We’re expecting a thrilling evening with Gordon Ramsay, and certainly an evening not to be missed,” said Higgins.

“Not knowing exactly what to expect from the man famous for his temper and scathing outbursts in the kitchen is half of the anticipation!”

The Ramsay evenings will be held between 22 – 24 June 2010.
