Plane crash on Desperate Housewives

8:30pm Monday, April 26 on TV2

A plane crashes down on Wisteria Lane in a shock accident, putting lives in peril, tonight on Desperate Housewives.

While the residents are setting up for the Wisteria Lane Christmas block party, the pilot of a small plane loses control and crashes in their midst.

As the cast of Desperate Housewives explain to Entertainment Tonight, it can be nerve-wracking being an actor on a show who’s producer is not afraid to kill off characters, with everyone guessing who will be next to go.

Eva Longoria (Gaby Solis) is clear about one thing: “I think a couple of people are going to die. Marc Cherry does not have a fear of killing people, we have a list going in the make-up trailer of all the deaths going and it’s just pages and pages.”

Upon hearing about the plane crash storyline, Kevin Rahm (Lee McDermott) says his first thought was ‘am I in it’. “On Housewives it’s always the first fear, ‘am I in the house and am I in the plane’, because Marc Cherry will kill anybody.”

Whether a tornado, a house fire or a plane crash, Wisteria Lane is a street where extraordinary things happen, which in Felicity Huffman’s (Lynette Scavo) opinion, keeps the show interesting.

“I think the show is that great combination of drama and comedy and mystery and I think you just need that big drama to write around it.”

Also in tonight’s episode, Gaby and Lynette’s friendship is on the brink of collapse as relations between Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira) and Lynette further sour. Bree (Marcia Cross) and Orson (Kyle MacLachlan) come to an agreement over their marriage and Danny’s (Beau Mirchoff) vital mistake may cost Angie (Drea de Matteo) her freedom.

Meanwhile, Katherine’s (Dana Delany) daughter, Dylan (Lyndsy Fonseca, Big Love), returns to Wisteria Lane for a visit which coincides with Katherine escalating her twisted plans to destroy Mike (James Denton) and Susan’s (Teri Hatcher) relationship.
