Doctor Who prop sells for £10,000

A Tardis used by actor Christopher Eccleston in a series of Doctor Who has sold for over £10,000 at an auction in the UK. The prop was among a range of items from the BBC series up for sale at the auction which saw most exceed their estimated prices.

The wife of American vice-President Joe Biden has landed a guest role on Army Wives. Jill Biden will appear as herself in the drama series which is pulling several real life Army wives to appear in guest roles.

Former American Idol contestant Clay Aiken has come out saying he would be interested in joining the judging panel on the talent show. The second season runner-up said he would like to see a former contestant filling the gap left by Simon Cowell.

Rogen close to Entourage

Entourage creator Doug Ellin has said he was close to casting Seth Rogan in the series as Turtle. Rogen was originally considered for the role but the pair have since had a bust up which led to Rogen criticising the show publicly and Ellin writing in a scene where Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) jokes that Rogen’s “ugliness is oddly fascinating”.

Ex-Survivor producer ordered back to Mexico

The ex-Survivor producer who is accused of killing his wife in Mexico has been ordered back to the country to face trial. The Mexican authorities have sent an extradition request for Bruce Beresford-Redman as he is the prime suspect for the murder.
