Dakota stands by inappropriate comments on Top Model

Controversial New Zealand’s Next Top Model contestant Dakota Biddle says that she only regrets some of her inappropriate and immature behaviour on the TV3 show.

The 18-year-old told Stuff that she shouldn’t be judged on what the viewers saw on the reality show.

“I am a fun-loving person, I’m selfless and will bend over backwards to please everyone. Everyone’s got their bitchiness and we don’t all get along with everyone in this world,” Biddle said.

“Even if people hate me, it’s like, ‘Well you try and get chucked in with a bunch of strangers and see how you go’.”

Biddle was eliminated from the show last Friday after a poor effort in the photoshoot but some will say her modelling potential was limited from the start and that she was only kept on the show so long for entertainment value.

One of the 18-year-old’s most notable moments came two weeks ago when she accused fellow contestant Lara Kingsbeer of being a “self-centred bitch” with a “fat arse”.

Biddle stands by one of the remarks: “I stick by the self-centred comment but the fat arse was basically a stab and stupid on my behalf. All I can say is, don’t have free Mai Tais in Thailand.”

Do you think Dakota was kept on the show for ratings?

One can’t help but feel a little sorry for her as she is very definately lacking in self esteem if she feels she has to act this way. All the girls suffered from her run away tongue at times and none of it was constructive. I am one of many who were happy to see her gone.

Anyone who says ‘it’s like…’ shouldn’t be taken seriously. Doesn’t like she has anything going for her inside or out
