From Naseby to Tarras, St Bathans to Bannockburn, Thorney takes viewers on an unforgettable journey tasting and cooking wild game, spinning yarns and leaving a trail of lunacy and laughter in his wake. Take in the mouthwatering delights of Thorney’s Merino Lamb Baked in Hay, Trout in a Red Pepper Blanket or Bannockburn Biryani and bare witness to mischief as Thorney puts those old rugby legs to work running from a saffron grower or being arrested by the sheriff of Cardrona! Thorney will visit some of the most treasured locations discovering the freshest quality produce with some of the most spectacular and picturesque scenery New Zealand has to offer as his backdrop.
