Jessie Gurunathan to host new online show for TVNZ

After the success of Reservoir Hill, TVNZ are about to launch a new online TV series but this time the drama will be real.

The Libra Design Project is a brand new five-part online series coming to in 2011.

Six aspiring fashion designers who are handy with a needle and thread will take up the challenge of putting their design skills to the test.

This is a fantastic opportunity for these young, talented designers to show the fashion world they have what it takes to create outstanding clothing – they could be the next Karen Walker, Kate Sylvester or Francis Hooper!

Each episode will follow the five contestants, who will face weekly fashion challenges to test their design and sewing skills, in the bid to win the ultimate fashion prize – a fashion show displaying their mini clothing line, plus $1000 cash, and more!

Viewers will have the chance to vote for their favourite designer each week, and will go into the draw to win prizes by doing so.

Hosted by Jessie Gurunathan, this show will be an entertaining and nail-biting must-see series!

If that sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, you can apply to be on the show here.
