Season 2B of Jersey Shore premieres in January on MTV

New Jersey’s most recognizable housemates are reunited and returning to Seaside Heights – where the fist-pumping magic began and a pop culture phenomenon was born.

The second season of MTV’s hit reality series “Jersey Shore” resumes on Wednesday, January 26 at 9:30pm with 13 all-new episodes.

This outrageous and hilarious dysfunctional family goes back to work at the tee-shirt shop, kicks back in their original shore house and picks up right where it left off.

Even though they’re still experiencing some fallout from “the note” in Miami, nothing can stop the family dinners, G.T.L and gorilla hunting that have bonded them from the beginning.

All seven roomies agree they are glad to be back and that Angelina is gone. Too bad none of them know Snooki has invited her BFF Deena Nicole Cortese to fill the void!  This cast is about to double their pleasure because like her diminutive, fireball bestie Snooki, Deena is going to prove that big fun and big drama continue to come in small packages. More zany and entertaining than ever, these roommates are going to hit the boardwalk, beat up the beat in the club and continue to prove that while you can summer a lot of places – the Jersey Shore is truly unforgettable.

Cortese, 23, describes herself as “class in a glass” and “party in a body” and if possible, she plans to bring even more partying to the hit series.

Cortese joins the original cast members which include Snooki, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Ronnie Magro, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, Paul “DJ Pauly D” Del Vecchio and Vinny Guadagnino.

“Jersey Shore” is a reality series that reveals the often surprising and hilarious hi-jinks of eight young adults who share a shore house in popular East Coast summer hot spots. Fights ensue and love triangles are formed, as the cast juggles their work scheduleS and take advantage of the Jersey Shore’s nightlife. Beyond the tanning, muscles and fist pumping, viewers learn there is more to this cast as they form a loyalty and bond that will last beyond their months partying at the shore.

“Jersey Shore” is Executive Produced by Sally Ann Salsano from 495 Productions. Jacquelyn French is Executive Producer for MTV.  Chris Linn is Executive in Charge of Production for MTV. Concept created by Anthony Beltempo.

“Jersey Shore Uncensored: Season Two” is available now on DVD where fans can relive all the fist-pumping, smashing and grenade battles from the first half of the season like it’s their first time.
