Is That it… Four’s schedule is essentially a midly tweaked C4 its nothing new or edgy and at least with C4 it had music as a filler. When TVNZ announced U they admitted it would be a 12 hour channel, Four however I thought would be full time (Infomercials arent programmes)because of the effort Mediaworks appeared to have made e.g Direct competitor to TV2 however Four is what C4 is a scrappy part time channel. Mediaworks will have another grim year ratings rise helped by this channel.

All-american made complete rubbish. What a waste.

  • Benjamin Paul

    Terrible.

  • TVmad

Looks like what was promised – some competition for the biggest channel in the land – TV2. No suprises.

  • Ant

This looks really good. it still feels like something is missing though. and its not all american. geez! its looks like a bright future for the channel and where is the schedule for sunday ? hmmm…. they could have a bigger schedule though. having so many infomercials isnt that good. and c4 was getting old

  • Ant

lol sorry sunday is on there. its saturday thats not mentioned

  • regan

yeah, the billings only went up to Saturday cause the weeks run Sat to Fri. We’ll have to wait another week before we see that line up.

  • bobscoffee

C4 was getting old? It’s only been around for a few years. How many years has TV ONE been around?

  • Rusty Viewer

Ah, but don’t you see the potential. This schedule is just the beginning.

It will be interesting to see what is launched on TV3 that week as well.

It’s also the week of new seasonb schedules for TVNZ I think.

Two days until the TV Guide comes out that will reveal all.

As regards Saturday, a schedule is already out somewhere for FOUR. Reruns of Buffy at 8:30pm is all I remember right now.

Probably a bunch of movies to fill in time until they get more programs eg: New seaons of Skins and Misfits.

I’ve updated the Four post with a graphic showing the lineup for the new channel

Since when is “White Chicks” a classic movie?

  • Roger

And was White Chicks on Tv2 last year

  • TVmad

TV2s launch schedule is out here http://images.tvnz.co.nz/tvnz_images/planit/opportunities/2011/schedules/tv2_large_week6.gif

No Greys Or PP on Tuesday..GoGirls instead and 4 Crap comedies back to back on the Wednesday.

  • hads

Happy to see that there is childrens programming. Looks like Four will get all of the audience that were watching TVNZ6 Kidzone.

  • reece_555

White Chicks was on TV2 before Christmas wasnt it? but ive noticed a few movies last year that shifted between TVNZ & Mediaworks TV. But thats an insteresting line up for TV2 wednesday reminds me of the comedy line up they had about ten years ago with 4x 30 min sitcoms then an hour dramedy sort of show. Prehaps Greys & PP are going to sundays maybe???? or they are being stock piled to have higher rating shows in the later half of the year?

  • Harry

Malcom in the Middle? Really? More reruns after reruns after reruns… Atleast they have some decent kids shows on though, but what about Rocket Power??? Hope they don’t remove the good ones when Sticky TV returns. I don’t like American Dad, but Family Guy’s alright. I haven’t heard of The Good Guys, Covert Affairs, Mercy and a few others. White Chicks is quite a laugh, but how is it a ‘classic’? All New The Simpsons is the only show that grabs my attention. Overall, FOUR leaves me rather disappointed, same with TVNZ U programming. TVNZ should just keep TVNZ6, as it has some quite decent programming in the evening. Looks like I’ll be sticking with TV One and 2…

Is it That 70′s Show or Everybody Hates Chris on during the 6:30-7:00 timeslot?

  • regan

Looks like it’s That 70′s Show now

  • aaronimpact

Sunday night is looking pretty good for most of the channels. I’ll be flicking between TV3, Four and The Box.

  • Harry

    Now the picture is right.
