Desperate Housewives on TV2

8:30pm Monday, February 28 on TV2

Make sure your knives are firmly locked away in the kitchen drawer as the backstabbing begins in TV2’s hit-drama, Desperate Housewives.

Vanessa Williams isn’t unaccustomed to scandal. Now, into episode three of the seventh season of Desperate Housewives we can sense her character, Renee, will become familiar with a scandal or two, herself. “She ends up hanging out in Wisteria Lane and stirring up some stuff,” says Williams.

However, the stellar class actresses are thrilled to have a new villain to play with. “She’s our new neighbour!” says Eva Longoria enthusiastically. “She’s Lynette’s (Felicity Huffman) ‘frenemy’ so she’s kind of tough,” adds Marcia Cross.

And in the last few episodes Cross’ character, Bree Van De Kamp, has also had something to smile about. “There’s a hot young thing in my house and I think a little romance will ensue – what are you going to do?” laughs Cross referring to the hunky handyman (Brian Austin Green) she has begun to form an attraction with.

Now that we’ve already met two of the hot new neighbours what else have we got to look forward to this season? Without giving too much away Longoria divulges, “Bree will reveal who ran over Juanita Solis.”

In this week’s episode of Desperate Housewives, Susan (Teri Hatcher) discovers that some of her best, sexy internet show moves are being copied by a competitor; Gabrielle hires a private detective to look into an important matter, unbeknownst to Carlos (Ricardo Antonio); Lynette is stunned when Tom’s (Doug Savant) doctor prescribes a rather unorthodox remedy for his depression; and Renee invites a reluctant Bree to go clubbing with her to engage in some local man-hunting.
