Castle did much better when it was on Wednesdays. Sure, it can have a good retention from Criminal Minds, but why they moved it for Packed to the Rafters is beyond me. Surprisingly low for CSI. With the exception of The Almighty Johnsons (which had a decent start), the whole TV3 lineup didn’t do well.

The competition should really start next week when TV2 starts their new Monday lineup.

Are there any audience numbers available for The Crowd Goes Wild on Prime at 6:30pm ? Running a 30 minute sports show against the network sports news is an interesting idea.

  • Brad Kreft

Yeah last night The Crowd Goes Wild had 28,180 viewers from 6.30pm

I personally don’t think reporting on All People 5+ is an accurate reflection of the viewing audience. The 50+ population skews everything to TV1. It’s a neat little trick TVNZ use for their new season launches and general reporting as it is always in their favour.

I realise it might be more work, but reporting on the channel demos rather than AP5+ would paint a clearer picture of the state of television viewership for NZ.

Thanks Brad. Only 20 times smaller than TVNZ!

MW, nice to think that people over 50 don’t count.  How about we make the ratings based on what you and your immediate friends watch?
