Former Neighbours actress to judge on The X Factor Australia

Former Neighbours actress and singer Natalie Bassingthwaighte has landed the fourth X Factor Australia judging/mentoring spot for this year’s season.

Bassingthwaighte will join former Spice Girl Mel B, Guy Sebastian and Ronan Keating on the new-look judging panel for the show.

“I’m thrilled to be one of the judges on The X Factor,” Bassingthwaighte said today. “I can’t wait to take on the role of mentor and kick some serious butt with the other judges. Game on! “

Bassingthwaighte played Izzy Hoyland on Neighbours from 2003 to 2006 before having a role in the third season of Underbelly.

She is an accomplished singer/songwriter who was a previous member of the Australian group Rogue Traders.
