My Kitchen Rules on TV2

7:30pm Sunday, August 14 on TV2

The competition is heating up in TV2’s hit reality cooking show My Kitchen Rules, which is now on screens three nights a week.

Beginning on Sunday August 14, at 7.30pm the teams are challenged to set up food stalls and cater for up to 1000 children and parents at the Sydney Children’s Festival. The team with the best dish, voted by the people, will win the People’s Choice and be safe for the week. The weakest team, chosen by the judges, will be up for elimination in Tuesday’s (August 16) sudden death cook-off episode.

Then, on Monday 15 August at 7.30pm, there’s a rapid cook-off. Teams are told they will be cooking pasta and sauce in 30 minutes. In this time, they must make their own sauce (from scratch) – and pasta. Just before the clock starts, the teams are delivered a twist – only one person from each team can cook (and not the same person that cooked last week). The four weakest teams must then use the main ingredients of pasta, flour and eggs, to create a dessert for the showdown.

The weakest team goes on to tomorrow’s (Tuesday 16 August at 7.30pm) elimination episode.
