Attenborough defends Frozen Planet
Sir David Attenborough has defended the BBC series Frozen Planet after it was revealed the show used footage of polar bears in a man-made den in an animal park as opposed to the wild. Attenborough says it was or the safety of both the cameraman and the bears: “If you had tried to put a camera in the wild of a polar bear den, mother den, she would have either have killed the cub, or she would have killed the cameraman. One or the other.”
