E! has the red carpet covered for Golden Globe Awards

As the worldwide leader in comprehensive red carpet coverage, E! shines the spotlight on the first event of the 2012 award season broadcasting LIVE from the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Anchor and executive producer Ryan Seacrest, host Giuliana Rancic and E!’s unparalleled Live from the Red Carpet team of entertainment and style experts will connect entertainment fans to all the fascinating stars unlike any other team on television and online.

E! Awards Show team will be onsite for the network’s trademark up-close-and-personal interaction with the most popular personalities from this year’s diverse range of Golden Globe Award nominees.

More than 20 E! cameras, including the extremely popular GlamCam 360, will capture the star-studded red carpet arrivals to present viewers with a detailed look at all the grand fête fashions.

In addition to the network’s extensive on-air coverage, E! Online’s re-designed award show page will feature a complete top to bottom analysis of the Golden Globes.

Increased social interaction integration will allow viewers worldwide to get involved in the show, including the new ‘Heat Gauge’ powered by Mass Relevance, a real-time social data visualization tool that represents which stars have the most sizzle in the twitter-verse by pulling in tweets made with the #eredcarpet hashtag.

E!’s red carpet apps for iPhone and iPad feature major updates, bringing users a new and improved look and feel. During the Golden Globe festivities, they will provide real-time information, breaking news and Instant GlamCam 360 photos, serving as the perfect “second screen experience” for the worldwide audience watching E!’s coverage.

These apps also pull tweets from E! talent and relevant celebrities right on to viewer’s personal devices and allows users to participate in those conversations as they are happening.
