Golden Globe winners "Homeland" and "Modern Family" to star in TV3's new season

The winners of Best Drama Series and Best Musical or Comedy Series at the 2012 Golden Globes are coming to TV3 as part of a bumper line-up of new season programming which kicks off in February.

The premiere series of Homeland, winner of two Golden Globes for Best Series, Drama and Best Actress, Drama (Claire Danes) is a critically acclaimed, compelling drama/thriller which centres on the return of an American solider to the United States after ten years of captivity in Iraq.  Dane stars as Carrie Mathison, the driven (and possibly unstable) CIA officer who questions whether Marine Sergeant Nicholas Brody (Damian Lewis) is really an American Hero, or part of a sleeper cell planning a terrorist attack.

Also part of TV3’s new season line-up is the third season of multi-award winning comedy Modern Family, named Best Series, Musical or Comedy at today’s ceremony.

The Golden Globes are presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, a group of 89 entertainment reporters for overseas outlets.
