Other than the sinking of the cruise ship Costa Concordia, the bulletins were very different tonight.  One News lead with the latest child to die from abuse while it was the exclusive coverage of the trans-tasman and trans-atlantic rowers on 3 News.  The child abuse didn’t appear on 3 until the second segment.

The rest of One News was all about the boats while 3 News had an update on the body in the drain near Te Papa and the story of the toddler who was stuck in a lift shaft in Melbourne for an hour today.
