Due to Bones star Emily Deschanel being pregnant in real life, the series’ current season had to be cut short, with the season finale screening on Thursday, March 15 th at 8:30pm on 3. “We all are very supportive of Emily, there’s really nothing negative to take out of it,” series star John Francis Daley, who portrays Dr. Lance Sweets, explains about the season being six episodes long. “I think it helped progress the story.”
This week’s season seven finale will see Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) searching for the perfect home for their impending family. But it’ll be the introduction of a new recurring villain that audiences should be most excited about.
“We’ve constructed the season so that the finale will leave audiences wanting more,” Executive producer Stephen Nathan says.
