Documentary Series

On History Under The Hammer tonight, we learn about an artwork by Pat Hanley depicting the voyage of the powerful seventies peace squadron deployed against nuclear vessels in the Waitemata Harbour. Also up for auction is a cap worn by one of the players of New Zealand’s first ever representative ruby team for the 1884 tour of New South Wales, and a Taiaha bound with hair from the now extinct Kuri or Maori dog.
