The top 16 junior chefs head to the Tobruk Sheep Station where they are greeted by George, Matt and guest chef, Scott Picket. They are separated into teams of four and have to cook an entree, main and dessert with an Australian flavour. Once in teams, they need to choose two proteins to use from four options (kangaroo, rabbit, lamb or beef). They then head out on a Treasure Hunt to gather their ingredients from various pantry stations set up around the farm. They have two and a half hours to gather their ingredients and cook, which means that the longer they take to get what they need, the less time they have to cook.
