8:30pm Friday, April 20 on TV One

TV ONE presents an epic drama, marking the 100-year anniversary of the world’s most famous maritime disaster, the multi-million dollar television event, Titanic.

Created by Oscar-winning writer, Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey, Gosford Park) and BAFTA-winning producer Nigel Stafford-Clark (Bleak House), the series cleverly weaves action, mystery and romantic plots before coming together in an unforgettable finale.

Tonight, Catholic engineer Jim Maloney longs to leave the city, and when offered the opportunity of a new life with his family via Titanic, he accepts.

In the second class decks, Muriel Batley bitterly resents her husband John’s subservience and reveals she knows a secret about his employer. But John’s worries are over-shadowed by a looming iceberg and the chaotic scramble for the lifeboats.
