Vampire Diaries, 90210 renewed

The CW network has renewed The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and 90210 for another season each.

Bay working on pirate drama

Transformer director Michael Bay will work with the Starz network on a new pirate drama called Black Sails. The series will be a prequel to Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel Treasure Island.

Jagger to host SNL

Mick Jagger will host the finale of Saturday Night Live this season. The rocker last hosted the show back in 1978 with the Rolling Stones.
