IGLOO today announced that an expected end of June launch will now likely be July.
Chaz Savage, GM of IGLOO, explains, “This slight delay is due to the fact that IGLOO is currently putting boxes out in the market place. We want the opportunity to talk to these customers, implement any changes and ensure we are ready…this is ground breaking technology and we aren’t buying an off the shelf TV service, we are creating one!
“This is about ensuring we can give our customers the best product experience possible. We are determined to launch a product that consumers love and we therefore will not be rushing IGLOO out until we are completely confident that it’s ready.”
A closed group of customers are presently testing the IGLOO product from ordering an IGLOO box through IGLOO’s website or call centre, to buying events on IGLOO’s pay-per-view sports channel FRONT ROW, and streaming movies direct to their TV.
“IGLOO will become a long term entertainment option which will provide Kiwis with flexible, fun, entertainment for many decades to come – with this in mind we hope that Kiwis understand we want to get this right first time.”
