7:30pm Tuesday, June 26 on TV One
Comedian Te Radar lives in the world’s largest Polynesian city – Auckland. However, like most of us, Radar knows very little of the countries that many Aucklanders come from.
So he is off on a voyage of discovery in TV ONE’s gorgeous new local series, Radar Across the Pacific, to meet the people and explore the cultures and lands of these nations.
Tonight, Radar has a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Tonga, swimming with a humpback whale and her calf.
He delves into the controversial sea cucumber industry and discovers how one man’s childhood vision has grown into the most amazing botanical garden in the Pacific Islands.
And he is charmed by a real life Pacific princess, as he investigates how the monarchy has managed to survive in Tonga for over a thousand years.
