After receiving a panicked call from Will, a man lost in a foggy ravine, Rescue fly blindly in their attempts to reach him. Conditions are appalling and Will can’t seem to help guide them in. All he can tell them is that he and his beloved wife, Katie, were returning from a family function when they crashed and she’s now missing. The team splits up and Dean and Lara quickly locate Will. Wracked with doubt about her own marriage, Lara takes some hope in seeing Will’s devotion. Chase, Jordan and Heidi eventually find Katie, aided in no way by the assisting Lifeblood chopper. Out on another job, Jordan and Chase are drawn into the middle of a paintball fire-fight as the owners of the range stalk each other for the right to decide the course of their business. When their actions take a turn for the worse, it’s a lesson in the fruits of a partnership turned toxic.
