TVNZ presents LIVE coverage of Wimbledon 2012

TVNZ is proud to bring you this year’s coverage of the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament in the world.  Catch all the action as the world’s top tennis superstars battle it out on the grass courts of Wimbledon.

TV ONE will cross to the action live at 12am daily.  If play continues past the scheduled time on TV ONE, transmission will switch to TVNZ U (channel 6, SKY channel 16) until play is completed.  Live coverage can also be streamed at our dedicated Wimbledon site: www.tvnz.co.nz/wimbledon-news

As well as live coverage, TV ONE will screen a preview show before the tournament begins and daily highlights at 3pm with the best of the day’s play.   TV ONE’s news coverage of Wimbledon starts with Breakfast, uniquely positioned at the end of the day’s play to present up-to-date details.  Coverage continues throughout the day with TV ONE’s award winning news teams as they bring you highlights and a wrap-up of the day’s play in London.

    Very pleased I’ll be able to watch it this year (it costs so much to get sport on Sky, TVNZ AND TV3 are now useless with sports.. so sad..)
