What are you watching on TV tonight? Friday 29 June

I’m planning on watching Sometimes in April, A Place in the Sun: Winter Sun and the Highlanders vs the Chiefs

It’s pretty heavy viewing for a Friday night, but on Soho tonight at 8.30pm is Sometimes in April, an HBO film about two Hutu brothers during the 1994 Rwandan genocide.

If you suffer from seasonal affective disorder (I’m pretty sure I do – I hate winter), then A Place in the Sun: Winter Sun (The Living Channel, 8pm) may cheer you up (or just make you jealous). In this series, British house-hunters are shown properties all over the world in lovely warm destinations, such as Hawaii, Costa Rica, Thailand, and New Zealand! Lie back and dream of summer.

I’ll also be watching the Highlanders versus the Chiefs at 7.30pm on Sky Sport 1, because I’m Dunedin born and raised, so I feel like it is my duty to cheer for the southern boys!
