What are you watching on TV tonight? Saturday 23 June

I’m planning on watching Bridesmaids and Stephen Fry in America

Black Swan is on Sky Movies at 8.30pm tonight, for anyone who hasn’t seen it (or anyone who wants to watch it again). It’s a great movie, but I found some parts quite hard to watch (eg. The fingernail scene…ugh). Brilliantly dark and creepy though.

Following Black Swan is Bridesmaids at 10.20pm, probably one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in years. Not many movies manage to actually make me laugh out loud multiple times, but this one did.

I particularly loved the scene in the car with Kristen Wiig and Rose Byrne, and the scenes in the plane. It’s so funny that I’m going to include a clip off Youtube, just so you can have a little chuckle.

Stephen Fry in America screens on the History Channel at 9.30pm tonight. In this series, Fry travels across all 50 American states in a London black cab, meeting the locals and finding out about the country. In tonight’s episode he travels through the Southwest, visiting New Mexico, Utah, Arizona and Nevada, and talking to a physicist, a family of Native Americans, Mormons and a madam. This series is a few years old now, but still very entertaining.

And of course, I must mention that the All Blacks are playing Ireland in the final match of the Irish tour tonight, 7.25pm on Sky Sport 1.
