New Zealand actress Rose McIver has landed herself the lead role in a new MTV project in the US.
The project is based on the Eric Garcia book Cassandra French’s Finishing School for Boys.
McIver, who featured in Peter Jackson’s The Lovely Bones, will be joined by Steve Talley (I Just Want My Pants Back), Abby Pivaronas (Jonas) and Lyndon Smith.
The story follows 22-year-old Cassie French, an overachieving Hollywood studio lawyer, who has trouble meeting men who are mature enough to date her. In the end she takes one potential suitor captive in her basement and trains him to become the perfect gentleman.
