Paul Henry's Breakfast show on the ropes

Paul Henry’s Australian Breakfast series looks to be struggling even more following the departure of key staff members in the past few weeks.

The Channel Ten series was said to have been watch by just 1000 people one day last week according to the OzTAM ratings system.

On average, the show draws around 28,000 viewers in the competitive morning show slot up against Sunrise on Channel Seven and The Today Show on Channel Nine.

In the past few weeks the show has lost the services of co-host Andrew Rochford and executive producer Majella Wiemers, with the latter being replaced by former TVNZ staff member Sarah Bristow.

Watching Saturday 18 August show – is this just a repeat of previous weekly programs? Just watched fashion (?) segment – person wearing yellow top with black underwear straps on display plus tatoo, not to mention the Mary (from Peter Paul and Mary) hair. My goodness, does she need some elocution help, ending every comment/statement with a question mark. Is that the best you have? Is this the level of Australian morning telelvision? It is as if you have not considered that some people may be watching – but not for much longer – very sad.
    Thank you.
