I’m planning on watching Toy Story and Saturday Night Live
If you’re looking for a movie to entertain the kids tonight (or, if you’re like me, would quite enjoy it yourself), the always popular Toy Story is on the Disney Channel at 7.30pm tonight.
Alternatively, TV2 is screening Bridge to Terabithia at the same time. This movie was shot in New Zealand, and it follows two very different children, who become friends and rule over the mythical land of their own creation, Terabithia, where magical creatures roam. It’s a bit sad, but a lovely little movie.
Saturday Night Live (9.30pm, Comedy Central) has a couple of good hosts tonight: Josh Brolin with Gotye (the singer of that song that’s stuck in everyone’s head – ‘Somebody that I used to know’). This show is always reliable for a few good laughs.
