I’m planning on watching Kings Cross ER, Intrepid Journeys and The Office
Kings Cross ER debuts on TV3 tonight at 8pm. This documentary series follows the staff at St Vincents Hospital in Sydney, as they deal with all kinds of medical emergencies.
First up on the show tonight, a man is rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the heart at a nightclub. I could never be a doctor. That would make me faint. I’ll be watching behind my hands.
Former All Black captain Buck Shelford is on Intrepid Journeys tonight (8.30pm, TV One). I’ll be watching this episode because he goes to Cuba, a place I’d like to visit one day. Shelford struggles with a salsa instructor and witnesses first-hand the influence of Fidel Castro in Cuba.
Also at 8.30pm, on Soho, is Band of Brothers. If you’re one of the few who hasn’t seen this series yet, you must watch it. It’s brilliant. It tells the story of Easy Company, an elite team of US paratroopers during World War II.
At 9pm on Comedy Central, The Office (the US version) starts from episode one of season one. I never really watched the US version, but I think I will this time around, as I find Steve Carell hilarious.
