Kristin Chenoweth leaving The Good Wife

Kristin Chenoweth signed on for a recurring role as a political reporter on The Good Wife, but is now leaving the show, due to an injury she suffered on the set in July, when she was hit on the head by scaffolding.

Chenoweth said in a statement: “It is with deep regret to inform everyone that due to my injuries, I am unable to return to The Good Wife. [I’m] getting better slowly, and thank you everyone for your concern.” 

Alan Dale to guest star on Hot in Cleveland

Alan Dale, who surely must win the prize for Kiwi actor who has been in the most US TV shows (Lost, The Killing, Once Upon a Time, Californication, Entourage, Person of Interest and Ugly Betty, to name a few!), is set to guest star on two episodes of Hot in Cleveland. He’ll play an actor named Emmett, who falls for Victoria (Wendie Malick).

Jodie Foster heading to TV

Jodie Foster is going to be producing and directing a new mob drama for American network Showtime. It will be called Angie’s Body, and will follow a woman who runs her family’s crime syndicate.
